About

I'm Emiliano — a product designer for the parts of software people avoid.

I'm an interaction designer based in New York with five-plus years shaping workflow-heavy product experiences from concept through launch — including zero-to-one product definition. The surfaces I gravitate toward are the ones most designers quietly skip: configurators, quote engines, dashboards, internal tools, onboarding for complicated products.

I translate ambiguous business and technical requirements into clear interaction models for multi-step flows and data-dense interfaces. Defaults that mean something. Systems that scale beyond the first screen. Accessibility and precise spec delivery as a baseline, not an afterthought.

What I'm looking for: a senior product design seat inside a team I can stay with — close to engineering, close to users, over years not sprints. Not freelance, not agency, not contract.

What I'm not.

I'm not an agency or a studio. I work as one person on one team.

I'm not a freelancer. Short engagements rarely move complex workflows.

I'm not a visual stylist. The look is in service of the decision being made.

I'm not interested in pretending the problem is simpler than it is.

If your team is hiring for a senior product designer who likes the hard surfaces, I'd love to hear from you.
